Shari DeAnda, CPI
Shari is a STOTT certified instructor in Mat and Reformer and trained in Cadillac, Chair and Barrel. She has a BS from SJSU in Human Performance, with a concentration in Corporate/Private Fitness and a minor in Sports Nutrition. Although Shari has been a Recruiter since she graduated college, she has always held fitness related positions in addition to her full-time job. She became a Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor in 1993 and has been a certified STOTT Pilates Instructor since 2003. She has taught in many venues in the Bay Area.
If you really work at it, she thinks that Pilates can be one of the most effective exercises to change the shape of your figure and improve posture. She finds it very gratifying to watch new students progress through their Pilates practice. “I have seen so many students start with absolutely no understanding of Pilates and then, with consistent practice and dedication, I see their form blossom and their body starts to change”.
Shari has a wonderful job as a Recruiter for a local Hospital and loves exercise, spending time with her Husband, Toribio, and animals (2 Shorkies and 2 cats).
